Disease treatment   most actively carried out with the help of drug therapy, the purpose of which is the relief of inflammation and spasm, pain relief, restoration of blood microcirculation and improvement of cerebral circulation. The main drugs for relieving muscle spasm and treating the inflammatory process are non-steroidal (ibuprofen,   diclofenac   analgin), muscle relaxants (Mydocalm ) and antispasmodics (papaverine, No-spa). To improve circulation, vasodilators are used (cinnarizine ,Trental). Also assigned   vitamins   groups B, which improve metabolic processes and are involved in the synthesis of neurotransmitters (Milgamma).

Massage is prescribed in the absence of exacerbation of the disease, or when the state of health improves somewhat after the use of drugs.

Physiotherapy is also used – it is mainly amplipulse therapy and electrophoresis with novocaine on the cervical region.

Exercise therapy and gymnastics is prescribed both in the acute stage in the form of static exercises, and when subsiding.   symptoms   diseases to strengthen muscles and restore mobility of the cervical region.

Is it possible to treat osteochondrosis of the cervical at home? Of course – yes, but home remedies are best combined with drugs prescribed by a doctor. Means of self-treatment include lying on special applicators, the use of warming rubbing and compresses (with iodine, alcohol, mustard), warm baths with herbs.
